Hua Hin Night Market

Open Everyday 4pm - 11pm
The most famous of all Hua Hin markets is 'The Hua Hin Night Market' also known as the Chat Chai night market. Located in the center of Hua Hin town it runs the length of Dechanuchit Road from Phetchkasem Road to the Prapokklao Road next to the railway tracks. Cicada Market

Open Friday and Saturday 4pm - 11pm, Sunday 10am - 9pm
Cicada Market is a kinda trendy flea market with a mix of stalls selling arty type stuff. Hand made Hua Hin souvenir things, T-shirts and bags, soaps and candles. Some second hand stalls selling clothing, shoes and antique nick nacks. More info and photos of the Cicada Market Hua Hin Here

Chat Chai Market

Open Everyday, 4am - 4pm
The Chat Chai market is the oldest market in Hua Hin. Chat Chai Market was constructed in 1927 whilst the Wang Klai Kang Won Palace was being built and features seven semi-circle vaults on the top of the building to mark the construction which was during the reign of King Prajadhipok Rama VII. Conveniently located in the center of Hua Hin town it is popular with both Thai and foreign visitors. A wide selection of fresh produce is available at the Hua Hin Chat Chai Market. Fruits, vegetables, meat and probably the largest choice of fresh sea food, fish, crab, prawns, squid and mussels to be found anywhere in Hua Hin. There are also textile shops, many clothing and shoe stalls.

Grand Night Market

Open Wednesday to Sunday 6pm - 10pm
Hua Hin's other night market.The Hua Hin Grand Market is located on the Phetchkasem Road in between the Hotel Grand (hence the name) and the San Paulo Hua Hin Hospital. As with most Thai markets, food makes up a large part. The whole lane of the market alongside the hospital is restaurants and food stalls serving your usual Thai dishes freshly cooked before your very eyes for eating in or take away. If you fancy something a little different there is a Japanese food stall selling delicious yakisoba and gyoza and a popular (and cheap) little steak restaurant towards the back.

The Hua Hin Grand night market is the night market for locals. Not as touristy as the Hua Hin Night Market, there are none of the souvenirs for sale here and similar items such as clothes are cheaper. There are many fashion clothing and shoe stalls for both sexes as well as make-up, perfumes watches and belts aimed at a trendy crowd of students and younger office workers buying outfits for university, work or to go out in. There is a wide selection of DVD movies and music concerts a few hardware stalls and a foot massage. Wednesdays is plant and fish night with stalls selling a nice variety of potted and garden plants, orchids, pond and aquarium fish with the occasional turtle and lobster (not for eating).

In 2010 a few welcome changes to the market have been introduced. The back of the market furthest from the Phetchkasem Road is now home to a new more arty flea market type vibe with few nice looking bars and stalls selling more unusual, antique and handmade items. Next to this is a new small block of enclosed and air-conditioned shops including a fish spa, a treat for those weary shoppers feet.

Pae Mai Market

Open Tuesday and Friday 4pm - 9pm
Probably the largest market in Hua Hin and very busy with the local Thai populace is Pae Mai market Hua Hin. Located on the Klong Road (Canal Road) over the railway line next to the Pae Mai Driving range. There are stalls selling just about everything here. Fruit, vegetables and every kind of cooked Thai food and desserts. Clothing and shoes. Household items, electrical goods, tools, car accessories, televisions and computers.

Dinosaur Market

(pronounced dai nao sao) Open Wednesday and Sundays 4pm - 8pm

48 Rai Market / Kun Klong Market

Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays 4pm - 8pm
The Dinosaur and 48 Rai markets are for your fresh produce. These markets are both large and have many stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables as well as meats, fish, prawns and every other type of fresh goods you can think of (and probably some you never would). The produce at these markets is very fresh and the cheapest you will find in Hua Hin. If you don't fancy cooking there are also many stalls selling cooked foods for take away. These markets are very busy with local Thai people. Both markets are located on the west side of the railway tracks on and near the Klong Road.
