Don Mueang International Airport
Don Mueang Airport (formerly spelled Don Muang) was first opened as a Royal Thai Air Force base on March 27, 1914. Don Mueang Airport closed in 2006 following the opening of Bangkok's new Suvarnabhumi Airport. After problems at Suvarnabhumi, flights resumed at Don Mueang on March 24, 2007.
Don Mueang airport has three terminals although only terminal 3 is currently in use for domestic travel. Nok Air flying to Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, Trang, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Hat Yai, Phuket and One-Two-GO Airlines flying to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Trang are currently using Don Mueang airport.
