This is considered to be one of Phuket's prettiest beaches and has plenty of room for all to lay on their beach towels and sip iced coffee, without getting too overcrowded. There is a well preserved memorial park here to remind everyone of the tsunami tragedy many years ago.
At the southern end of the beach is a headland, walk around this and you will find the even prettier Laem Singh beach. You can even have a massage under the shade here! Admire the view of this tranquil cove, shrouded with foliage, as you walk down the trail from the main road. Laem Son headland is at the northern end of Surin Beach and you can swim off Pansea beach here.
Surin Beach is known for its's strong current at certain times of the year so families should be aware of this when swimming.
