Surin Beach

Surin_Picture_005This is considered to be one of Phuket's prettiest beaches and has plenty of room for all to lay on their beach towels and sip iced coffee, without getting too overcrowded. There is a well preserved memorial park here to remind everyone of the tsunami tragedy many years ago.

Kamala Beach is a smaller and quieter option than Patong Beach with a long stretch of sand to please sunseekers. Hotels are mostly expensive here but if you walk to the town centre away from the beach you will find cheaper places to stay.

Patong Beach

One of Thailand's most popular tourist towns, Patong Beach is regarded as the liveliest area of Phuket. This town has a fine sprawling beach and plentiful hotels and restaurants to suit all budgets.
