Kaeng Krachan is Thailand's largest national park (2,914 sq km). Most of Kaeng Krachan lies in the Phetchaburi province along the border with Myanmar. It is one of Thailand's most lush national parks and is teeming with wildlife including elephants, barking deer, tapir, Asiatic leopards and even tigers. Both the Phetchburi and Pranburi rivers flow into the park and altitudes span from 300 to 1500m. The Kaeng Krachan wilderness is unparalleled for it's rich diversity of birds, large mammals and flora. Just 1 hours drive from Hua Hin town it shouldn't be missed. There are 2 camp sites and bungalows for rent.

We visited the Kaeng Krachan National Park 2010. Thailand's largest and probably it's most wildlife rich national park. Here's what it looked like then.
