Hua Hin Shopping

Shopping in Hua Hin is a pleasant affair and though there is not the quite the range of goods that you may find in Phuket of Chiang Mai the prices often start out that little bit lower though of course you still need to haggle for the ultimate bargain. Hua Hin offers a number of street vendor stalls and small shops that offer Northern Thai handicrafts, Batik clothing, silks, ceramics, lamps, wood carvings, hand painted parasols as well as goods made by local craftsmen from seashells.

Although Hua Hin has the usually array of tourist orientated shops with cheap tailors with fake 'brand' clothing and watches stalls it is certainly not the best shopping destination in Thailand and visitors would be well advised to do their shopping in nearby Bangkok. Be aware that the 24hr cheap tailor shops often produce the quality that is associated with rushed cheap workmanship and to only use reputable tailors.

Catering for the beach crowd many for Hua Hin’s shops and street stalls offer beach ware, colourful shirts, t-shirts, sarongs and bikinis most often at bargain prices.
