The New York Steakhouse located on the second floor of the 5 star JW Marriot Bangkok hotel provides some of the finest steaks in Bangkok. Constructed with a New York theme in mind, it plays among others, Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong with Ella Fitzgerald in the background and is decorated in the classic New York style. You can choose from grain-fed US certified Angus beef and Australian beef aged to perfection and decide from 5 cuts, the Fillet Mignon, Porterhouse, Strip loin, Rib Eye or T-bone.

Although steak sets the standard it's not the exclusive food at the New York Steakhouse which also provides salmon, racks of lamb and an excellent selection of seafood, including live oysters and swordfish and lobsters. You will not be short of a nice beverage to compliment the fine cuisine, equipped with an outstanding selection of fine wines available by the glass, with the red wine list being the most comprehensive. The New York steakhouse is a steak restaurant not to be overlooked in Bangkok.

Bangkok now boasts two of the highest restaurants in the world, the well known Vertigo at Banyan Tree Hotel and now Sirocco, the ultimate al fresco Mediterranean restaurant. Located next to the Chao Phraya River on the 64th floor of the State tower, this new ultra hip restaurant offers magnificent views of Bangkok. To complete the dining experience there is a the Sky Bar for pre dinner drinks, a neon lit bar at the far end of the terrace that changes colour throughout the evening, and a nightly Jazz band in the upper floor dome. The kitchens have their own fish tanks so fish and shellfish are specialities here, and chefs use only the freshest ingredients to provide a wide selection of Mediterranean food dishes. Sirocco's location and atmosphere is matched by its excellent cuisine.

The Rang Mahal is one of the best restaurants for Indian food in Bangkok. Located on the 26th Floor of the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, as well as an excellent view over the city, the atmosphere is complimented with a stylish interior decor of mirror work and high quality paintings as well as amazing live music. Certainly a visit to the Rang Mahal is a treat for all senses and the Indian cuisine is exceptional, a wide ranging menu with food coming from all parts of Indian that changes over time with the influence of it's regularly flown in Indian chefs.
